Canyoning experience in Crete

Are you looking for rare, unique and adrenaline pumping experiences even during your holiday? Would you like to explore places that no one else would even dare to imagine?

Breathtaking rock formations, refreshing waterfalls, magical caves and an adventure of a lifetime. If you feel more adventurous and you don’t mind a little hike and heights than you can look into the secret beauties of Crete through the canyoning.

Let's check your program schedule

  • Meeting at the Kourtaliotiko Gorge around 10 am. (Transfer is possible from Rethymno upon request for an extra charge.)
  • You will start the journey with your tour leader deep into the breathtaking gorge and on the way you will get to know the chapel of Agios Nikolaos located in the gorge, as well as get a taste of the legends related to the gorge.
  • You will put on your neoprene suit and you'll get the safety briefing from your instructors.
  • From now the fun can begin and the Big River will become your playground.
  • You will jump into the river by the waterfalls. You will swim, take photos and play like children while your group leaders look after you.
  • The program lasts appr. from 10:00 till 14:00

Which day you can choose for this program?

  • Any day depending on free capacity. (The minimum number of participants is 4 and if the number of people has not reached the minimum the program can be cancelled or moved to another day.)

What you should bring to the Canyoning program?

  • Swimsuit, 2 pairs of sneakers or 1 pair of sneakers and 1 pair of slippers (one pair will be wet), sunscreen
What does the Canyoning program cost?
120 € / person
  • Minimum age: 10 years
  • Additional price for transfer from Rethymno: 20 € / person
  • The price includes canyoning equipment with neopren suit, instruction in English, photos and videos
  • The price does not include transfer (just upon request for extra charge and only from Rethymno), food, drinks and shoes.
  • Payment is requested at least 3 days before the program starts.

We spent a wonderful week in Crete at the end of September. In Edit's website, we found a lot of useful information for planning the holiday. We started emailing from home. She was extremely kind and helpful, we received countless good advice from her and we took part in a memorable Santorini boat tour organized by her office. Edit was very kind and helpful! As part of a private trip, we went to Balos with a private boat, which we booked from home, but the captain canceled 5 minutes before departure because the waves were too strong and we couldn't go out. We were very sad, we contacted Edit, she answered in a short time and tried to find another boat, but no one could go out by boat that day. The sailing was rescheduled and promised for the afternoon the next day, Edit also sent us a phone number and encouraged us, it would be even better if we go in the afternoon! We are grateful for it, because the trip went fantastically well. We didn't have any problems! Thank you Edit

We found Edit via Facebook half year before our holiday. Immediately after contact her, she was full of useful information and she was extremely helpful. Her videos helped a lot in choosing routes and destinations. She helped us to make tailor-made private excursions with our unique wishes and she organized our excursions with the help of a prepared and friendly local colleague, George, who was our driver. I can only recommend it to everyone! We were with the MyCCollage in Santorini, but it was excellently organized! All questions were answered almost immediately by Edit. The best thing that could have happened to us when we’re planning our vacation to Crete was that we found Edit and the MyCCollage website. We read a lot of useful information on her site, so it was clear that we would choose Rethymno as the base of our vacation. If you find the beach here too wavy, I recommend the beach at the port of Bali, where you can swim safely even with small children 😉 Edit helped us a lot, answered all our questions, and the restaurants and locations she recommended were impeccable😍 We also asked for her help with the airport transfer and everything worked smoothly 🙂 So I can only recommend Edit if you are going to Crete, and thank you again for everything 🙂

I found Edit and MyCCollage on the internet, a few days before our travel to Crete. From the first moment, she helped us in everything: starting from the private transfers from the airport and back, at the organized trips, and she even handled a canceled excursion professionally. We received real and enough informations about the excursions and it was a good feeling to know that we can count on her help at any time. We returned home enriched with very pleasant and beautiful experiences. Crete is beautiful and diverse, not only for those who want to sunbathe and swim, but also for hikers (e.g. Samaria Gorge). We spent a week on this beautiful island. It was one of the best vacations of my life. I booked the accommodation on booking, and the flight with wizzair, both were great. I looked for a rental car on the island and I found Edit's website, where I was very happy because I was able to rent a car for a good price without a credit card. We got a little Kia Pikanto that took us everywhere. We loved it. It was clean and washed. Everything was as we discussed in the correspondence.. A minibus took me from the airport to the car, from where I could go back to the airport for my family. At the end of the holiday, the same. The operator, Gina, was very helpful, flexible and kind both in correspondence and on the phone. Unfortunately, we couldn’t meet face-to-face. I heartily recommend them! Unfortunately, we couldn't meet Edit either, but her website helped a lot at exploring the island! I'm glad that I found it!

We were very satisfied with the organized excursions. Edit was extremely kind and helpful and paid attention to everything. If I had any questions, I received an answer via message almost immediately. Organized by MyCCollage, we also went to Elafonissi, Balos, Knossos Palace and Heraklion. The bus was comfortable and clean, and it picked us up a few minutes from our airbnb accommodation and dropped us off at the end of the tour. We got to many beautiful places this way, and I’d rather choose this than renting a car at any time, as everything was very comfortable so. We learned useful informations during the guided tours, and last but not least, we didn't have to deal with parking and driving, we could just admire the beautiful Crete landscapes from our air-conditioned bus. Thank you very much once again, Edit, for making us an unforgettable vacation.
